Keep Rotten Meat Off Our Plate!

Keep Rotten Meat Off Our Plate!

Last year the USDA repealed the mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) for meat. What this means is multinational meat companies can import meat and present it as domestic. Furthermore, the USDA allows these companies to put a “Product of USA” label on these foreign meat products! I am not kidding.

But why does this matter?

You don’t know where your meat comes from.
You’re being lied to – Brazilian and Mexican meat is not a “Product of the USA”
Domestic ranchers are being driven out of business as a result of cheaper foreign meat imports.
Some of the largest meat producers have been allegedly selling rotten meat for years. Acid & carcinogenic chemicals reportedly were used to make the meat look fresh.

The USDA recently halted all Brazilian meat imports to the USA. Inspectors found abscesses, ingesta (stomach contents) and unidentified foreign materials in Brazilian meat.

So, just to lay it all out there on the cutting block –

The USDA is acting against your, the consumer’s, best interests. In fact, they are lying to you.
May I be so bold as to ask the question, what is the downside of a label of origin?
You don’t know how these animals have been treated, what foods they have ingested, what antibiotics, growth hormones injected, etc!
In conclusion, not only is the USDA not protecting the health, safety and prosperity of our citizens, this government agency is intentionally allowing toxic foods into our grocery stores. Not only is there NO label of origin, your government is labeling these meats as domestically grown!

And I guess war is peace, slavery is freedom and ignorance is strength!? So lets all do ourselves a favor and wake each other UP!

Buy local! It’s better for the environment!
Buy grassfed! It’s healthier!
Buy organic!
Support your local rancher!
Let’s all wake up and get healthy! And if you don’t know where it came from, please don’t eat it!

Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food.” Hippocrates

Take care,
