All of our animals are always treated respectfully, provided clean fresh water, and have access to ample grassy pastures 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Our animals are NEVER given; antibiotics, hormones, steroids, or growth promoting additives. Additionally, our pastures are not treated with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc! We utilize chicken manure as fertilizer for our pasture via our large mobile chicken coop.
How are your animals harvested?
Our animals take a short drive from Saint James City, FL to Bradenton, FL. To ensure humane handling, we have partnered with a local USDA inspected processor, William’s Custom Cutting and Nettles Sausage. With over 17 years of experience, our partners provide the highest attention to detail and utmost care for the process from beginning to end.
Our animals travel at minimum 48 hours prior to harvest so they may adjust to their surroundings after travel, lessening any stress. WE DO NOT rush the process for the sake of time and money!
Is your meat frozen?
Yes! Unlike a common industry practice, our product does not spend time fresh on a sales shelf and then frozen as a last resort to extend its life. Rather, all of our meat products are flash frozen immediately after processing to preserve freshness!
