Pineshine Farms® 

Nestled on more than 100 acres on Pine Island, Florida, Pineshine Farms is a working farm built on family, stewardship, and a commitment to quality food. The land and animals are cared for daily by the Dansby family, partners in business and life Joanna and Mike, and a small but dedicated team, several of whom have been with the farm for over a decade. Their long-standing commitment speaks to something important: this isn’t a short-term venture. It’s a place people invest their lives in.

Joanna and Mike have managed the farm since it first opened in 2017 and in 2025 they proudly stepped into full ownership.

Over the years, operations have evolved. At one time, Pineshine offered fresh eggs and batches of homemade favorites like meatballs and egg cups alongside our meats. As seasons changed and priorities shifted, we intentionally scaled back to focus on what we do best: raising quality beef, pork, and chicken for our local community.

Today, our offerings are simpler but our vision is growing.
As we find our rhythm and refine our goals for the future, we plan to thoughtfully expand again, bringing more farm-raised products back to our customers. We believe growth should be intentional, sustainable, and rooted in service to the community that supports us.

Pineshine Farms isn’t just acreage and livestock. It’s family-run, community-minded, and built on the belief that good food starts with good stewardship of the land. We’re grateful to be part of Pine Island and so excited for what’s ahead.
