What is Flank Steak?
Lean and boneless with lots of intense beef flavor. Slicing beef against the grain is always important, but even more so for thin, coarse cuts such as the Flank Steak.
Where This Cut Comes From
Flank steak is cut from the Flank Primal, located blow the loin. Cuts from this area are lean and flavorful.
Best Cooking Method
Ideal for marinating and grilling or sliced thin and stir-fried. Grass Fed is best when cooked low and slow; you should sear the outside on a grill or skillet, and then transfer to the oven to continue cooking until desired doneness is reached.
